The Sorrowful Pleurothallis, Pleurothallis luctuosa

This little orchid is putting on quite a show right now.  It's a warm to hot growing species that ranges from Nicaragua to Ecuador.  My greenhouse temps are more in the range of intermediate to cool, so I'm pleased that it's proven to be adaptable, and despite its common name, happy ;-)

The Unique Dendrobium, Dendrobium unicum

Crazy little plant with buds that form on seemingly lifeless stems and flowers that open upside down (?).  This species is found in northern Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. I attempted a self cross a couple of days ago. Hopefully capsules form.
